Anyone else have fibromyalgia and hypothyroidism?

Kellee53, I've had fibro for 30 years and was diagnosed with Hashitmotos Thyroiditis in 2017 and then a wrong
diagnosis of Graves Disease 2 years ago. It was switched to Subclinical Hyperthyroidism. I do believe greatly
that Thyroid disease and Fibro go hand in hand.

The jury is still out about Fibro being an autoimmune disease. Personally, I believe it is. If you have one
autoimmune disease, you are prone to have more.

You may have to play around with the thyroid meds to get the "right fit" for you. I take Methimazole 5 mg.
It has helped greatly.

You & I are on the same page... totally agree with what you have said! Tomorrow, I will be 77 & my autoimmune history began with Graves Disease at age 40. I was treated & then went into remission, however; soon after Graves Eye Disease appeared. Since then, SJOGREN'S Disease (the worst), Raynaud's Disease, Small Fiber Peripheral Neuropathy, & Fibro & Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. Yes, it all started with Thyroid Disease! Wishing strength & Peace to all!

Sorry, Kellee53, I forgot to include you in my response, as I do have both Fibro & Hypothyroidism. Hopefully you will see my post. What I failed to mention is that what helps me (overall) is Lyrica. This med also helps me with anxiety. Peace & strength!

I do , I take levo thyroxin for hypothyroidism for fibromyalgia I have been on lyrics too. I have sciatica and the pain never seems to go
