Anyone diagnosed with PCOS and Bicornate Uterus? Is Pregnancy Possible

Posted by phoenix21 @phoenix21, 3 days ago

Hi friends, I was diagnosed with both of the above conditions at 19 years old following an ultrasound outside of Mayo. I had no real education on either of these issues at the time and didn't receive much treatment for them. Now that I'm in my 20s, I'm starting to realize the impact these may have on starting a family, as both are linked to decreased fertility and miscarriage. I'm really unsure of where to go from here and haven't been able to find many cases of these two disorders occurring in the same person and resulting in a live birth. Any advice or support would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

Good Day,
I can’t speak about PCOS because I don’t have any experience with it as far as I know. I always had extremely painful periods and a bicornate uterus. We had three very healthy boys when I was in my twenties. Apart from docs thinking I had an ectopic pregnancy until they realized I had the bicornate uterus I had no problems with the pregnancies although our third son was a c section because he was breech. Sending you positive energy and hopes for your future family.
