Anybody have a para conduit hernia and is this what is causing my burp

My thoracic surgeon just looked at my seven year CAT scan. I had one two years ago. Nothing has changed. She said that I still have a para conduit hernia but since I can eat and haven't lost weight and I'm not throwing up, she would not do anything about it--- has never done a surgery for it and would not like to do it on me because I'm 81 years old. I'm just wondering if anybody else has been diagnosed with that and could this be why I'm burping all day
