Anxiety and depression

Posted by feliciaus @feliciaus, Oct 14, 2022

I just signed up to join this group. I have had depression for a long time, not much anxiety now as I used to. I do not take any medication which I think I should. I would like to connect with other people for support and encouragement.

@marjou Thank you very much. Yes, I was looking for this group for a long time. Glad I found it. I was looking for emojis to assign to my replies and couldn't find them. Any suggestion? Thank you.

Hello @feliciaus, I would like to add my welcome along with @marjou and others. 🙃 If you are using a Windows computer, emojis are easy. Just click the right mouse button where you are typing and you should see a menu with emojis option at the top. Select it and you should see a few emojis and you can also search for some.

Hello @johnbishop and @marjou thank you both for the warm welcome! I am using a desktop and if I click the right mouse button it is giving me a menu to paste, copy, .select all, etc. No emojis to select from. I might have to copy and paste some emojis from my files.
Thank you for the link. Yes, I view the discussions in the group.

Here's another way to get the emojis with the keyboard.
During text entry, hold down the Windows logo key and then press the period key. The emoji keyboard will appear. -- https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-keyboard-tips-and-tricks-588e0b72-0fff-6d3f-aeee-6e5116097942

@johnbishop @marjou I did some research and found out that I am using Windows 7 which does not have the capability to insert emojis. With Windows 11 you can achieve more as it is showing in your screenshot. I thank you for taking the time to walk me through this trick. Anyway, I am able to react and use different symbols including emojis on other platforms I am using. Truly appreciated.
