Can antibiotics trigger a PMR episode?

Does anyone know if you take an antibiotic for a recurring bladder infection will it trigger PMR episode?
Seems like every time I take antibiotics I get terrible painful joints etc. and fever.and symptoms are such it is an allergic reaction to the antibiotic.

Does the PMR fight with antibiotics?

I haven’t told my rheumatologist about the problem. I’m on a low dose of prednisone.

My guess is your joints are reacting to the infection, not the antibiotics. Occam’s Razor.

That’s so interesting… what’s the offending antibiotic?

Well best of luck finding one that doesn’t make things worse.
