androgenic alopecia hair loss

Posted by myoldbones @myoldbones, Aug 6, 2023

Has anyone been successful in restoring hair growth after being diagnosed with androgenic alopecia by using natural remedies rather than using medications which have side effects and only work with continued use?

Rosemary oil worked for me. I mixed a bottle with my shampoo and my sparse spots started filling in.

Thanks. How long did it take before you saw hair growing in spare areas?

You can also take Biotin from the vitamin aisle. It is also good for your finger nails.

It’s not immediate - three months for my hair. Keep the faith!
Oh - My husband gave me a red-light brush from Amazon for Christmas and that sped up the process.

My thirteen yr old granddaughter has severe femoral anteversion. She is afraid of the corrective surgery. Has anyone experienced a similar situation with a child. Just looking for suggestions or similar family experiences.

I posted the femoral anteversion question on the wrong thread. Sorry.

Thanks for that information. After reading your post, I looked up red light brushes on Amazon. There are a lot of choices. What kind did you select? How often do you use it? Do the bristles pull at your hair? My hair strands have become so thin and delicate. Your suggestion is the first one that does not involve the consumption of some kind of pill or medicine with a side effect that I do not care to experience. Thanks.

My brush is by Hairmax. I don’t use it as a brush - I just move it 1/2” from spot to spot three times a week only like the directions say. I use it only where my hair is sparse, which is around my hairline and on my temples. It doesn’t take long. The company is very helpful too.

Thanks so much for sharing that information. It certainly sounds like something positive to try.
