Am I wearing my cuff right?
It says artery mark there does that mean it's on right?

The mark indicates the correct placement for the cuff, and you’ve positioned it exactly right. It’s on perfectly.

I'm just confused. Does the mark/icon need to be lined up with the tubing or just the word?
@ehdog
If you lined it up with the icon, that would actually be wrong. The way you have it now is correct.
@ashlynnmae
What does "the index must be ok range" and then above the icon in the pic it says Ok
@ehdog
Honestly, I’m not sure, I’ve never seen that on any of the cuffs I’ve owned or used before. It might just be printing from the company that made the cuff and not something that actually means anything important. Either way, don’t worry, you’re wearing it correctly.
@ehdog The position is fine. If the cuff is not inflated, it looks like you have it too tight. You should easily be able to insert two fingers under the cuff before inflating. A ltight cuff may give inaccurate readings.

1 ReactionI am going to disagree with the others, very respectfully, based on what I believe I see from the OP's images. My own cuff's' instructions, three different ones, show the tube running down the MIDDLE of the elbow inner joint, so running parallel to, and in the middle of, the forearm. If I'm seeing it correctly, your tube is almost on the outside of the elbow joint. That's too high. The brachial artery runs down the inner bicep.
I do agree with Sue that it 'looks like' you have the cuff too tight. It should barely be snug....only. You should be able to shove two fingers under it without forcing it out of place. But the sensor in the cuff taking your pressure is at the end of that tube, and it should be where you can feel the pulse in the elbow....in the soft inner surface, midway. My opinion, of course...
