Allergic reaction to Rugiet for ED
Has any one here suffered an allergic reaction to an Erectile Dysfunction supplement called Rugiet. This supplement is made of a combination of tadalafil, apomorphine and Viagra. I have been taking it for the past three months to a total of 9 times with effective positive effect to what is the medication is for. It works for ED but the last time i used it worked well. Then i went to sleep and woke 2 hours later with a lot of drooling. I look at myself in the mirror and noted the left lower side of my jaw was partially swollen and affected my speech. It did not affected my breathing at all. I went to an emergency department and was injected with epinephrine an other drugs and it disappear a few hours later. My questions is the if its ok to find an alternative ED med or if i can still take the Rugiet is small amounts after pre-medicating myself with steroids and anti-imflamatory meds.?

Hi, @pacotortrn65 - welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. I just wanted to let you know that I moved your post to the Men's Health support group so that you might encounter other men who may be familiar with what you've experienced with having an allergic reaction to Rugiet:
I'm also tagging a few members who have posted about this medication or about erectile dysfunction in general to see if any of them have had experience with Rugiet and any challenging side effects or if they may have suggestions on an alternative ED med. Please meet @wilatpor @jakedduck1 @davidd62 @mark29 @micheljmarion1983. @danab also may have some thoughts for you.
Did the emergency department doctor who saw you or your primary care doctor have any thoughts for you as to whether you can take Rugiet in small amounts while premedicating yourself with steroids and anti-inflammatory meds, as you mentioned, or whether you might find a totally different ED medication?
What's the general consensus regarding Rugiet. Does it really work?
@wilatpor Yes it does. But you have to use it as directed; making sure that to initiate stimulation with your partner to get started. Its effect last for hours but you have to maintain sexual stimulation on and off while having sex. it worked for me for about 8 times. But the last time;after sleeping for a few hours after sex;i developed a partially swollen right side of my tongue . I went to an emergency department and was medicated with epinephrine iv and dexamethason iv and that fixed it. Those are signs of an allergic reaction. I never had that happen the other times i had used it. If it wasnt for that reaction i would still be using it. It actually works.
