After being treated for prostate cancer: Why is ED my only friend?

I was told that during my first couple of years I would experience some sexual no-no's , but should get better with proper help. this hasn't happen in four years. it stop functioning. I can use all the good advice available. I'm 74 years old. very health and very good physical condition. I have tried mostly everything. only other thing left is wrapping it with to a stick. Haha. no loke need help soon and bad.. Softy !

@rlpostrp - yeah, it sounds like your urologist didn’t do right by you. Mine told me “It can take a couple of years,” and when I went to the ED clinic at the cancer center, they were very upfront.

What they told me there was, “Whatever ability you had before surgery, that’s going to be your baseline. If you’re lucky, that’s what you’ll get back to, but it’ll take 2-4 years, and it all depends on how many nerves were spared, and how traumatized they were during surgery. Nerves are very, very slow to heal.”

I have just the nerves on my right side remaining. A little over four months out, I do get a sensation every now and then, and sometimes even the slightest hardening, barely there, but just enough to see/feel, so they’re trying their best, I think.

I take daily half-dose of Viagra and use a manual pump. To the OP, I don’t have experience with a powered pump, but I can’t see how it would make any difference. It’s performing the same action, just automatically instead of manually. It wouldn’t be doing anything differently.
