Letrozole for 10 months, I started having mild left flank pain. Ideas?
Has anyone after months on Letrozole had left side flank area muscle pain? It is mild but annoying my kidneys are ok

That’s interesting, I have right side flank pain as well as my rib is sore at the bottom. I have had multiple scans, all ok. I have used a tens unit (bought on Amazon) in that area and it has provided some relief but it’s not completely gone.
Yes, it is such a hard choice. I personally do not want to give up my ability to walk & even "move" to music at my senior exercise class (not fancy) & live with pain all the time, as an exchange for saying I'm beating back breast cancer. I'm 76. I've tried 2 AI's which damaged my blood pressure & gave me so much leg & joint pain. I'm now trying Amoxicillin, but 10 mg caused my shoulder & hip joints to ache badly after 3 weeks. I've cut back to 5 mg, but still seems to be doing this, just a little less. GRrrrr. Now checking into Proton radiation to see if it's an option. Sigh, all hormone blockers seem to have this effect on some of us. Thanks for sharing your story.

If you have any arthritis, the AI causes more problems with those muscles, bones and joints.

I am sorry, but I hope there's a typo here; for Amoxicillin is a prescription penicillin antibiotic, and is being used to treat various bacterial infections. Why would your doctor prescribe this drug for you to treat various aches & pains? Please double check with your physician(s).
