AeroEclipse XL
I forgot to put the cup in breath actuated mode when soaking.
Does anyone else have Ombra?
I don't really like it and should have done more research before ordering.
I prefer the one that I picked up at medical supply store.
This Ombra is so noisy and has ended up on the floor a couple times.
Have to keep readjusting on table because of all vibration.
Has anyone else forgot to turn to breath actuated mode when soaking?
I don't like the short mouthpiece.
Doesn't make sense.
I'm ready to just drop off at Goodwill.

It brings up a good question. What can you do with airway treatment things you no longer want but are perfectly good? I doubt the Goodwill is the right place. But where?? PS I did not like the Aeroclipse either. I have the Ombra and try to use it but it is as you say and I find my Pari Pro Neb is much better.
I think I am lost. Ombra is a compressor machine and aeroclipse is a cup for nebulizing. Is there an aeroclipse cup?
If you can, contact a homeless shelter or women's shelter, I am sure they would welcome a used compressor and any unopened supplies. People come to them with nothing in hand, and often have huge medical needs.
I use a mouse pad under all my compressors. Helps with the movement and vibrations.
Thanks. I use a placemat.
I was on such a rant about the Ombra I forgot to ask my question.
That's twice while soaking I didn't turn to the breath actuated mode.
I'm hoping it's still okay to use.
How many compressors do you have?
I like the one I received from medical supply store.
Very compact and quiet.
Ombra heavy and noisy.
Thank you
It gets the air clearance over a lot faster.
Just a lot of things to remember.
I have started putting post it notes on my front door.
Maybe a few on my sink might help.
The Ombra is compressor.
AeroEclipse XL the nebulizer cup.
Ombra is very noisy and lots of vibration.
The cup you have to have on a certain mode when soaking.
I have never heard "The cup you have to have on a certain mode when soaking." Don't understand. I have never heard anyone till now say to have on breath activated mode until now. I rinse mine in hot soapy water with palmolive free & clear liquid soap (no antibacterial soap), then boil in distilled water, then I use a bololo baby bottle sterilizer. The directions for arikayce in it's special nebulizer are rinse in soapy water with a clear liquid soap ( no antibacterial) 10 minutes, rinse the lamira head well over 10 seconds, rinse the rest & then boil x5 minutes in distilled water/that is straight from the manufacturer Pari & the Arikayce nurse that came to my house.
If you boil your nebulizer, there is no reason to also use the baby bottle sterilizer. One or the other is plenty!
I always like to point out to people I resent MAC and/or Bronchiectasis taking one more precious minute of my time or creating one more complication in my life than is absolutely necessary. That is why I have stubbornly stuck to boiling in a saucepan for my equipment for the past 7+ years - no gadgets, no parts, no breakdowns, no storage - just equipment I already own and have a spot for in the cupboard.
So glad to know boiling in the saucepan is all it takes...that is my go to piece of equipment. Trying to keep it simple.
