Aerobika manometer
Hi everyone,
Manoghan only sells manometer with aerobika, I have several aerobika already, but want to buy a manometer. Anyone use manometer and bought it separately?
Thanks!

My understanding is that you have to buy it together, it can't be removed from device. I will be interested in seeing if you get different information from others.
It can't be submerged and is taken off for cleaning each time.
@ling There is no place on the regular Aerobika to attach the manometer. It is a special version of the device.
Ah, thanks, Sue. That settles it.

The manometer comes with an extension that goes between the Aerobika and the Mouth Piece. I can use mine on any of the Aerobika's I have.
Hi sherrig,
Thank you so much for the info.

If you’re planning to buy a new Aerobika, you might consider getting one with a manometer. This small gauge attaches to the device and provides real-time feedback, helping you ensure you’re blowing within the optimal pressure zone. Using too little pressure may reduce effectiveness, while blowing too forcefully can risk collapsing your airway walls. A manometer typically adds about $10 to the cost, and in my experience, it’s well worth the investment.
I recently purchased one from Tampa Specialty. If I recall correctly, the total cost was around $80, including the manometer. My doctor sent a prescription in requesting a Aerobika with a manometer. I called Tampa because I had a couple of questions and they were very nice to deal with.
Note: The arm that connects to the Aerobika can be boiled for cleaning, but the manometer gauge should be removed before boiling to avoid damage.

Thank you so much Linda,
I just contacted Tampa Specialty to purchase an aerobika with a manometer. it is about $80. I do think it is important to know if I am using the aerobika right.
Many thanks again.

@ling @becleartoday i got a free Aerobika w/ manometer at the recent NTM conference and really thought it was cool. Neat to know just how hard to exhale. But once I got that feedback it’s not something I feel I need to use regularly. I basically just confirmed my regular use was already on target. If one suffers from asthma, congestion, fatigue, things that make your breathing/effort more irregular it would be very useful to keep yourself in the zone as things fluctuate. I am glad I have it as another tool in my toolbox.
