Lower lung adenocarcinoma found on routine x-ray: So scary.
Had no symptoms found on routine X-ray. Results today 1.1 cm lower lung adenocarcinoma. Hasn’t spread as far as the scans show. I’m 75 and scared out of my mind. Haven’t seen doctor yet. Anyone know what is a general plan? God this is scary!!!

2 Reactions@lititaly Such a beautiful place to move to. So very sorry about your diagnosis. I'm starting to adjust to what my plan is and the fact that I have this disease. But you know what? I think we are going to get through this and we're going to make every day count! Best wishes!

3 Reactions@lititaly I fell into a deep dark rabbit hole for almost 2 weeks. It sure is scary! I had my mapping done for my radiation done yesterday. They helped with my fears. Keep coming back here, because there are plenty of caring people who are, or have been, in your shoes. Making today count. Do something just for you. Me? I'm getting in my pool before the rains start.

4 Reactions@blue717, I'm glad you are doing better. Knowing what to expect helps a lot! Keep asking questions, knowledge is power. When does radiation start?
@lititaly, I'm sorry to hear that you are facing this diagnosis. Hearing that you have any advanced cancer is certainly scary. I think there are many of us that are living beyond expectations. Doctors quote statistics, but you are not a statistic, you are an individual!
Do you still have chemo treatments to be completed?
Do you have bladder cancer also? I have both lung and breast cancer. Each are treated very differently, so it's been a challenge.
