From my personal experience, salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide are two very common active ingredients in different face washes. It's different for everyone but with my skin, I've found that salicylic acid causes breakouts, but benzoyl peroxide works the best at eliminating and preventing acne.
Is this something you have spoken to a dermatologist about or are you researching different options first?
