About to grudgingly enter into a Prolia treatment after two yrs of mild benefit from Tymlos, and after Endo's serious warnings of extreme risks if not..... Would greatly appreciate your reports/comments on:
-Prolia experiences and
-Preparation steps prior to initial infusion/ benefits
Thank you

@rosem1953 Thank you for your post. Please let all of us know how it goes after taking the AlgaeCal Plus and Strodium.

@anatomary I just finished 2 years of Tymlos with great success. My first DeEXA scan was -5.3 ( not a typo). My scan after Tymlos was -2.7. I decided to follow-up with Prolia even though Im 69. Plan is 2 years on Prolia then probably Reclast.

3 Reactions@anatomary My last shot of Prolia was in March, 2024. When I saw the oral surgeon in May 2024, I was already 2 months into my Prolia shot. I decided NOT to get the next shot which was scheduled for September 2024. By the time September came along, I had significantly less pain. By the end of 2024, I had NO Pain. Again, this was my outcome so it could be different for you. By the way, I have always been extremely focused on my health. Since my early 20s, I have worked out at least 5 days a week with 1 hour of aerobic exercise and 45 minutes of wieghts. I eat healthy. So my lifestyle has been healthy. And yet, I was diagnosed with OP at 62. I am 72 now. I do believe that if I didn't work out and didn't have a healthy lifestyle, I could be in a worse position.
I will report on my next DEXA test and pray that my tests have improved!
