Abbreviated and/or Ultrafast Breast MRI, have you had one?
I’ve been reading about Abbreviated and Ultrafast Breast MRIs. It sounds like they are being adopted for use, but maybe not yet in our clinics?
Article from 2020, defining the procedures:

Article from 2024, current info:

If I’m reading the information correctly, it looks like they take 10 min, for abbreviated it reduces the cycles to the important ones, and ultra fast depends on the equipment being able to collect data at a faster pace (which most current equipment cannot do). So far studies are showing they are accurate. I would think a standard MRI would still be used for those that are known to have a very high risk level.
