Vitamin K2-MK7

Posted by cpd54 @cpd54, Jan 18 6:22am

I take Vitamin K2 in the form of MK4 and MK7 for osteoporosis. I’ve noticed that when I take the MK7 my eyes tend to be less dry. I can find no research on this. Has anyone else experienced this?
I have found research about K2 and dental health.

I also Vitamin K2 with MK7 but have not noticed my eyes are less dry. I take the Vitamin K2 with MK7 as part of my supplements to help with my neuropathy. Here's some research on the vitamin.

"K2 as MK7 100 mcg - also known as menaquinone-7 (MK-7) is a form of vitamin K that has health-beneficial effects in osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease, inflammation, cancer, Alzheimer's disease, diabetes and peripheral neuropathy"

@johnbishop
What dose of MK7 are you taking? I take 180 mcg, which is on the high side of dosing isn’t it?

The MK7 that I take in neuropathy supplements is 50 mcg morning and evening for a total of 100 mcg.
