Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia: New symptom of burning sensation
I was recently diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia. No treatments required at this time. Hematologist will monitor. I had absolutely no symptoms and it was picked up on routine bloodwork. I am now having a burning sensation in upper back and arms. Also pain in legs. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this and would know what could be causing it.

Were you diagnosed with CLL? If so, how long ago?

Thanks for your response. Did you require treatments?
I had chemo at first and then Unbruvica for years. But the side effects has my doc rethinking my
Treatment
Are you still doing the Unbruvica treatments? I don’t need any treatments at this time. My doctor said if I need treatments, I can do chemo intravenously or by pill form. Not sure if that would be Unbruvica. I’m hoping for no side effects if the need arises.
What kind of side effects are you experiencing?
I’m not having any treatments as I don’t have any symptoms of CLL. It was picked up on routine blood work. I see my hematologist in March. Treatments will only start if I have symptoms.
What side effects are you experiencing from the Unbruvica?
So sorry @nickyh38. I didn’t realize you were asking @bdhuel2001 the question. I responded to you in error. Hopefully @bdhuel2001 will see your question and respond.
I’m anxious to get info to learn more about CLL.
I had similar issues and was told I had Cellulitis, infection of skin and cells.
Antibiotics took care of it.
Good luck
