Hank, I am still using my red light laser, but only about once every 2 weeks. . I still only use it on one or once in awhile on 2. I have a local friend in my home town who purchased one for his knee and it has worked great for him. I am sorry it did not work for Linda. Maybe it would have if you would have backed off on the power once it felt too strong. My husband and local massage therapist in my town use just red light for aches and pains or after a strenuous weight workout and they both love it. We are all different in our bodies and not everything works the same rate or degree on each other. I 100% love my red light laser and I am so grateful for its results. I did not use it during a shingles breakout. I used it for the pain and permanent nerve damage that the Shingles left me with. I now have permanent neuropathy on the left side of my head, forehead and left eye due to my shingles nerve damage. I was on various drugs in the beginning, but with side effects I did not like so I suffered for 4 years with my neuropathy pain before discovering the red light laser treatment. I still have mine and will not give it up. Once again sorry it did not work for your Linda, but that doesn't mean it won't work for others with their pain. I much prefer this over taking a drug. I would never suggest something that I didn't get good results from. NEVER!

I agree with you 100%. What works for one may or may not work for another. The LaserTRX company ought to hire you as a spokesperson. I am truly glad you found something to help you as much as it did. I wonder if @bunnyp is still using hers? The three of us had quite a round robin (i.e. gabfest) going there for a while a couple months ago about it! Sorry to hear about your travails with Lyrica. Best, Hank

Wow Hank that’s very expensive. I tried searching in Mayo Connect but can’t find other UV light cites. Can you help or do you know cheaper alternatives? Thanks so much as always!!

Plz help me what can I do for the restless legs and my body jumping...and the pain where he changed my meds from 4 10 mg a day to 3. 7.5 a day

@cristy71 I started taking Cymbalta for neuropathy pain a few months ago, and it's helped the pain a little - every little bit helps. When I moved up from 60mg to 90mg, my whole body twitched and jerked. After a couple of weeks of that, I dropped back down to 60mg, and the restless body syndrome went away for the most part.

As @faithwalker007. Renee said, it can take time for our bodies to adjust to medication levels. I would say that if your symptoms persist, and you can be sure that it's because of the drop in your medication, I would be talking to the doctor, telling them that 10mg was an effective pain control, whereas 7.5 is not, you have a right to receive a therapeutic dose. My doctor is trying to push me into believing that my morphine doesn't treat neuropathy pain, but for me, I know that it is.

Hang on to see if things level off. Then speak up and be a good advocate for yourself.

Jim

Hi everyone! I ended up sending the Laser TRX back also after several long tries for it to work which it has not but absolutely nothing has helped my nerve damage and i have tried absolutely everything!!!! Been putting CBD 1000 mil drops under my tongue for almost a month and has not helped at all either! Just so frustrating but so happy it has worked for you Jerid❤️ Guess I am going to have to accept living every day for the rest of my life with this daily excruciating pain! It will be 3 years next month😔

@bunnyp
Did you try medical marijuana and did that also not help you? What about kratom? Those are the two sure fire things for Linda's pain. Nothing else has touched it.

I am wondering if these lights can be used if you have had a spinal fusion? Wondering if the tissue by the screws would be negatively affected by the light therapy? Thanks, Jane

You would definitely need to ask your doctor about that🤔
