Varicose veins
Has anyone developed or had worsening varicose veins after Covid?
I had some spider veins, nothing too big, but now I have a ropey looking varicose vein traveling down one leg.
I drove an hour to see a vascular specialist. He spent about ten minutes with me. Used an instrument to measure blood flow in my legs and pronounced me “fine”. I have found it doesn’t work to contradict the “expert”. Meantime the vein looks worse.
Anybody else having this experience?

No, not really. My weight loss was on purpose due to clean, tight diet and exercise. I’ve struggled to stay on track despite my post covid ailments. I want to get to an ideal weight and size for health reasons and a couple other reasons. Lol
Good for you!
I must admit for me this has been as a result of being ill. I’m trying to eat healthy but have not had an appetite for a long time.
I’ll admit that it’s likely I’ve been able to stay on track due to my loss of smell and constant bitter taste in my mouth. Also, I’ve had periods where I had no appetite. I really eat just for the nutrients. It’s not about enjoyment now. I had some pumpkin pie over New Year’s and I can’t say I really tasted it.
I switched to having my main meal at lunch when I have a better appetite. I am using resistance bands for exercise.
Good idea. I’m going to get some. I need that kind of training.
