Replies to "I cannot log into the Tuesday online support group. Is it no longer active? It should..."
No one showed up. Note Mayo Phoenix has several active transplant support groups. If anyone wants their zoom info please message me. One is open to everyone but focused primarily on kidney transplantation. It meets Thursday at 7pm Arizona time. Another is only for Mayo patients and is focused on liver transplantation. Both meetings are fairly active. It's too bad the Florida support group is inactive.
Good morning. The Florida support group meets every Tuesday @ 11am. There were over 30 people on the call yesterday. I believe the Zoom link has changed. This is the link I use each week:
https://mchealth.zoom.us/j/93224957338?pwd=NjBHeGo2SHFqcUQ4MHNKUmRIaGtJQT09
Thank you! I hope they update the link on the website. If any people from Florida wish to join the liver and kidney online zoom support groups in Phoenix I am happy to oblige.
When I joined using the zoom app from my computer I would see the coordinators name and receive a message stating the meeting would start when the coordinator arrived. This was after 8am Pacific time.
The link @jerryp provided took me to the registration page. It looks like I have now successfully registered. I didn't get to the registration page using the zoom meeting ID and password on the events page yesterday.
IMHO, it would be great if all the Mayo centers would coordinate their support groups. Mayo Florida's connect web page is really fantastic. Mayo Phoenix has individual zoom coordinator support groups but not a site wide connect page for Phoenix patients that I know of. I don't want to post the individual support groups info here without their permission but the Phoenix transplant support groups are excellent. I believe Phoenix does the most transplants of al the Mayo centers.
The Mayo Phoenix kidney transplant coordinator gave me permission to post information on their support group. It is open to everyone but most people are kidney transplant pre and post surgery patients. I am a dual liver/kidney transplant patient who had surgery at Mayo Phoenix. Note tomorrow their transplant support group should be very interesting since one of the Mayo Phoenix nephrologists (Dr. Sami Alasfar) will be answering questions from the members of the support group. The coordinators of the group are Nicole and Loren. Following is the zoom meeting info.
Meeting ID: 873 0014 4780
Passcode: 599315
I always login by launching zoom first and then entering the above info. The direct link I am unable to post since new members of connect Mayo Florida are blocked from posting links. Nicole encourages you to give her your contact information so she can add you to their Transplant Community Alliance email list. If you cantact me through DM I can message you the zoom link and Nicole's email address.
I forgot to mention that Nicole's Mayo Phoenix zoom support meeting is every Thursday at 7 pm Arizona time which is 9pm Florida time.
Hi there!
I am new to the Mayo Clinic Transplant program; but, I had both a liver and kidney transplant performed at UCLA in 2008.
I am having problems with the virtual Zoom meeting and Rachel, the coordinator of this group is only sending automatic replies to email.
I am trying to complete the pre-registration form before Tuesday’s meeting but I am not having any success.
Please let me know if I am missing a step.
Use the link that @gperry posted. It worked for me. I have links for the Mayo Phoenix kidney and liver support groups. If you want those DM me and I will send them to you.
The meeting still does not work using either the link or launching zoom manually and entering the meeting ID and password.
@gratefulbob, I just tried to login into the Zoom meeting. The link is working fine, but the meeting host has not started the meeting yet.
You can contact Rachael directly to get connected immediately.

I will also contact her to correct the information for future meetings. Thanks for the heads up.
