They are two different purposes and Tramad is one we to stop someday.
Thank-you for mentioning a daily pain/depression journal. That's exactly what I need at this stage in my pain.
Thanks so much everyone for the helpful advice😊😊😊
What is MFR? Myofascial release? How do you do it? I have fibromyalgia on top of my arthritis on top of Stage IV cancer (bones,joints,organs...).Is the Topricin the same minty cream you can get at the P.T? Thankyou. I just found out from this site my horrible leg pain might be caused also from the cancer causing my spine to collapse.
Good evening @lillyanne, It appears that you have some significant medical challenges. MFR is a form of treatment that releases restrictions in the fascia in our bodies. Fascia is a layer of dense fibrous connective tissue that surrounds individual muscles and organs. This fascia has a high density of elastin fiber that determines its extensibility or resilience. When it loses its natural fluidity, it becomes tangled into tight layers that result in significant pain. MFR is a treatment that releases the restrictions and relieves the pain associated with them.
I just took a new person to observe the actual treatment today. She was amazed to find that it is not massage and requires exceptional training in order to find the restrictions and then use talented and well-trained hands to release the restrictions. She will be returning tomorrow for her first treatment.
There is already a discussion on Connect that has lots of information and introduces members to @jenniferhunter who is knowledgeable and helpful.

What is pemf?
Tramadol has never taken the pain away from me and provides tons of insomnia I don't sleep for days I look like a walking zombie oh yeah I have taken 2.5 mg of a hydrocodone and that takes the edge off the pain and when it gets extremely painful I take one full tablet and it seems to work wonders at night in order for me to sleep I take Benadryl the hydrocodone is provided to me only for 5 days normally lasts about eight nine days I stretch it out as much as possible, since I try to deal with the pain as best as possible all on my own, it's only when his pain is so horrible that I can't take it anymore i run to the local emergency room and they give me five days worth and a pain shot and that seems to work for a good eight days and then it starts all over again the pain is never gone but at least I know I can control some of it
Hello. Thanks for your info. Isn't it awful....
the games we must play because of pain. I'm glad yours is somewhat under control.
It is quite obvious that your pain level is it higher than mine, but I've been there and I've come back out of it and don't ask me how it's just what I happen to have going for me. Just to give me an example as I sleep real well on tramadol and you don't so everybody's different and that's why we talk as we try to find the answers which are extremely difficult in today's day and age. We all need help and the pain does not stop different stages of moves in ways we can control. The exchange of ideas is the only thing we got going without more surgery and more injections which caused my AA. I'm just in a preventive mode now dealing with things that work give into me from Doctor tenant and other ideas that I'm using and therefore I feel myself getting stronger and I don't have the complete answer yet as I think nobody does. I pray for you and hope things get better.
