Vick’s Vapor Rub for Neuropathy Pain
Has anyone tried rubbing Vick’s Vapor Rub on their legs or arms for neuropathic pain? I wonder if it would feel cool on the skin with the burning pain. It would certainly help soften the feet.

@michael308 I put Vicks on the bottom of my feet when I have a cough.
It absolutely works.
Aspercreme works for neuropathy pain. However, most of the time I grin and bear it…
I have tried aspercream and it does not work for me.
Have you tried Sara lotion? It has helped with hot feet and tingling for me. It smells terrible so I put on socks.
Do you mean Sarna Lotion?
I found Sarna Lotion on Amazon.
Yes, sorry, typo. Sarna lotion.
I found 4% lidocaine patch to provide some help, going from an 8 pain level to a 4 is a welcomed relief. For whatever reason, 4% lotion did almost nothing. May be the minute of coolness of putting on the patch draws my attention away from the pain and onto "that's cold".
What do you do for the numbness in your feet I to have numbness in my feet with no pain
I have never used Sarna lotion. Cannot get that here in Canada.
Mineral Ice,, for temporary relief seems to help.
It is a menthol that relieves pain.
I also use Vick's formula at night with white socks on.
It does calm down the pain, and stinging.
