Zoloft seems to have very few side effects but takes about 3 weeks to get into system
I did the Geno testing to show which drugs would be best suited . Busiphar was recommended . It was horrible side effects. The pharmacist said it was very mild.
I am going to try microdosing if possible Zolof. Anyone try microdosing this drug?
I have been taking zoloft since the mid 1990s. They started me on a low dose. It did take several weeks for it to be effective. I have periodically tapered off and resumed it. I have had no side effects. I am currently taking 150 mg/day with no problems. If has been a life saver for me.
I have been on Zoloft 25 mg. for almost 8 weeks now. For seniors this is the starting dose.
I have had no side effects...but feel I may be due for an increase as my anxiety is still not under control.
Will be discussing this with my psychiatric NP next month.
Good to hear it has been a life saver for "walk4life".
I more than understand your history of severe side effects as the same has happened to me with lots of medications.
Hope it will turn out beneficial for you...as well as me!
I started taking Zoloft when i was in my mid 40s. The starting dose then was 50 mg. They did eventually increase it to 100 mg. After a number of years the 100 mg was not controlling my symptoms so I was increased to 150. I had to briefly add an anti anxiety medication for a few months when i was dealing with a stressful personal situation.
Yes, I find it helps with anxiety. I can take up to 3 a day but rarely take it every day, sometimes once or sometimes 2. If an upcoming event might be stressful I probably would take 2. I think each pill is 5 mg. Talk to your doctor about it.
The smallest mg is 25 mg . Are you scoring it?
Thank you!
