I am nearly crazy with RLS and no sleep for so long. I am so tired and no doctor here will help me . I am desperately looking for a doctor that can help with RLS and neuropathy.

@linedancer18337 Good morning. Let’s deal with this pain. It appears the you have reached a point where sleep deprivation has created severe anxiety which creates more pain and then you are in a loop.

Where is the pain? Do you have an ice pack that you can put in the freezer? As soon as it is cold enough apply it to the pain area.

Is there a sleep center where you live? If you can tell me more about the location of the pain I may be able to direct you to someone who has experience with your symptoms.

We, at Connect, are here to help you. We are not medical practitioners, just folks who have a wealth of personal experience.

Be safe and protected today. And welcome from the Connect team. Chris.

Good morning! I chickened out on anterior fusion in 3 areas of my lumbar on 7/17/19/. And no alternative methods working. Read more from your sight about Arachnoiditis. I had back to back steroids today injections 4 weeks earlier that did not work this time. Instead I got constant pain in lower back, but, itching skin like bugs crawling over me, especially my legs. No one has mention anything about Arachnoiditis. Maybe they know knowing about this at Emory spine center. I am willing to travel to the Mayo Clinic anywhere that will help me. Can’t live like this. Aleve, Tylenol, muscles relaxer all not working. I have gerd and Ibs. Do anyone have a good referral in Atlanta, Georgia. It is not know for good health care. The state sucks!

So Sorry to hear about the constant pain. Most have been or still are dealing with it. It is ashamed that the Media has picked up on the Opoid Crisus! They were developed for people like us! You are aprehensive to tell someone if you take them and being labeled a "DRUG ATTIC". They were finally the only thing that gave me relief from my headaches and other symptoms. Lucky I have a very understanding and wonderful Primary Care Doc.
I have been on two tablets a day, once in the AM and onther in the PM, and it has made a world of differnece in my life. I don't have a graving for more! I have been on them for almost 6 months and now feel like a normal person! It's Wonderful!
I know a lot has been written about the Epidemic, I was tired of getting lectured by different doctors I went to trying to solve my symptoms.
I finally looked at the last one and asked her if she would come to work everyday talking to patients, if she had a headache 24/7. She said of course not! Then I said don't lecture me on what I take under very strict guidelines of my doctor and the state I live in!
It's your body and your Life. Do what you need to do to get back to living.
Your coment about the Mayo is Great. They treat you with understanding and compassion like no one else!

@kimspr3 I'm so sorry for all your pain your having at the Dr.s expensive. You are a good example for everyone to check their Dr.s credentials before they submit to anything. Again I'm so sorry for your pain Have you looked into alternative meds for your pain ? maybe someone can help you with this? May God be with you and give you comfort.

Nice to meet you lioness and thank you for your response. Sadly I did the research but can't see the lack of character and did they understand the Hippocratic Oath. I have a really good Pain Management/Anesthesiologist. My diagnosis is not well know because they use the term "Failed Back Syndrome" Instead of "Adhesive Arachnoiditis" With that condition the more that's done, not all but it gets worse. I did a lot research, the more angry I became. I have a Pain Pump thats put under the skin, catheter implant near the Tailbone. It does help. I admire you. I always wanted to b a nurse. My God give you comfort also.

Thank you so much for responding to my post. You seem to have me diagnosed pretty good. I could hardly move today ,so very tired. I called my dr’s office and for the first time the nurse seemed very concerned. I could hardly get my breath to talk. I went in to see another dr as mine was on vacation. This doctor was good and understood my symptoms. He gVe me trazodone to help me sleep. I think if I get some sleep things will be much better. If they don’t, I have another appt. on Thursday.

Sorry to read about your pain. Try CBD oil topical . It can be purchased over the counter. Why not try a new doctor or a pain clinic ? But bring all your records since you have a history of over dosing. Pain meds over a long period of time is not the best for you anyway or it wasn't for my best friend. My best friend was given pain meds for many years and at the age of 78 was diagnosed with Crohn's ! Hope you find relief soon or a pain clinic that can help.

Thank you, I agree with you ,but have tried so many other things that people have suggested to me. I will try the trazodone that the dr. gave me today and see how my pain is once I get a good nights sleep. Thanks again and God Bless you my friend.
