Hi, I'm Evelyn! Just joining today. I have chronic pain due to inflammatory arthritis (probably psoriatic), osteoarthritis, and fibromyalgia. I'm hoping to learn something from other members in this group. Thank you in advance!!
@pollywolly Welcome to connect We try to give people our experiences with our problems. We aren't Dr,s but have a lot of experience . I'm Linda ,lioness , I have osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia and a lot of back problems. I'm going for an injection tomorrow for back. But what helps me is ginger-turmeric tea this is anti inflammatory tea taste good also get it at Trader Joe,s . Also ice is anti imflammatory . I use a Tens Unit on my stiff mucsles a Tens relaxes them You can research it . I also use more magnesium then ordinary people without fibro. Research says we need more and I can attest to this. Dr. has me on Meloxican for arthritis . I just had a bout of pain all over so Dr. gave me the sliding scale of Prednisone . I hope others will chime in and give you what helps them. We are all different so we have to find out what works for us. Glad you here hope you post again . Our group is supportive and just like to talk .
Thanks for this information.....could you send my the phone or email information? I don’t know how feasible this would be given the distance but definitely worth considering. Thanks so much!
Welcome to the club.
Is there a digital download or DVD to share in this class from out of state?
Dr. Cronin does have DVD that she hands out in classes for the different subjects that they teach.
Thanks so much Lioness! I am hoping to get some tips, etc., and some information about others' experiences. Thanks for the welcome to the group!
I went online and found an interesting video about Vitamin D and pain. I thought everyone in this discussion group might find this interesting as well. Just click on the link. Will you let me know your thoughts after listening to it?

I have deep, bone pain often. I have much worse pain when my D level is down. I take liquid D-3 daily and it helps a lot.
Hi there.
Where can I found out more information regarding these classes that are held at the Mayo. I live in Tucson and would drive to Scottsdale, about 2.5 hrs, if it’s worth it. Do any info you can forward would be great.
