@annewoodmayo My first Moderna booster was November 2021 and within a couple of weeks I began to experience my first Long COVID symptoms. My LC was caused by the booster thus my decision to never be boosted again. When I posed the question "how many people have said to you, my LC was caused by the vaccine?", Mayo professionals said "many".

The only time my Wife and I had COVID was July 2022.

My lack of trust in future vaccinations isn't a slam on medical professionals and medical science, but there hasn't been true scientific study of causes of Long COVID, medical professionals are trying their best to help. I don't think there will ever be true scientific study because that isn't where the money is.

Merry Christmas and I wish you the best,

Art

Hi Art,

Thanks for explaining your thinking. I'm sorry to hear that your LC started from the booster! That really stinks...
I guess one way to think about it is to say that you and your wife are victims of the "pandemic" in general, when there was widespread disruption to the usual march of medicine. I consider my mom and nephew who both passed away to be such victims also. Under non-pandemic circumstances, they both most likely would have survived.

I'm glad to hear that the doctors are recognizing the connection. Science ain't science when it ignores or denies unexpected results. I learned that from science fair experiments in junior high school!

And a very merry Christmas to you, too.

Anne

I can not believe your doctor!!!! I’m so mad. To me, he should be reported. Obviously Long Coved is very real. The fact that he is giving you a bad time going to the ER is unbelievable!
I hope you look into another doctor to care for you. You do not deserve incompetence like this doctor.
I’m sorry you’re suffering. Know you’re not alone. I’m just a few weeks shy of 2 years with LC.
I’ll pray for you!!

I have been dealing with what has been diagnosed as Long Haul COVID, but was rejected by the Mayo Clinic program and one here in Indiana. I have been so dizzy and off balance since I recovered back in Dec. 2020 that I couldn't exercise much. Last week I went to an ENT for some ear checks and he mentioned if I had considered "normal pressure hydrocephalus". I had not, but am familiar with the disease since my father passed away from it and it was a terrible death. I am going for a screening for this problem just after Christmas and hoping that is the problem since there is a surgical repair that has a high success rate.

Hi, I had covid19 in January 2021. Almost every doctor had I was the first covid long haul patient., and some I recenly was sent to specialtist. My primary care doctor, I had for a very long. She could tell I was all jacked as a result. She dug deep to get me information and try some medications that might hepl a bit. I was lucky that they did not dicount my as heath prolems as a direct result.of Covid19. I was/am very lucky. So many awful effects, I understand what you are going through. I had gran mal seizers as a result. I'd come to sometimes in the ER. My memory is a total mess. so much more. I would back out and drop and come to on the ground. I have broken limbs, puncture my lung and a broken ribs. It is crazy. I Just recently I got some medication. In stead of seizuers. Now I wobble around, almost falling, run into things. I drop and break things daily. I squat down to pick up something and I can't get without assistance ga.rab what ever is around to help. I am so grateful. I always break things because sometims my hands don't know what the deal is there.
I just created a youtube channel, To talk about what we go throw daily. @spicykim430. I hope it helps or maybe let you know that you are 1000% percent are not alone. It's hard to deal with, let alonghave are not treating your symtoms. Hang in there! I hope you find a doctor that will help you.
