They were able to determine I had the beginnings of rejection between the x-rays and blood work. They had me do extreme dosage of steroids. Two times I was able to go in to have 250 mg given intravenously and then the other time, due to being over the weekend (transfusion lab is closed on Sunday), I did a combination of the transfusion and high dosage tapering down to the regular dosage via tablet. It wasn't a big deal to me though. I had no physical symptoms and the people are all nice. If you need something to eat or drink, they have sandwiches and soda or water there.
My bloodwork was red flagged . All Enzymes were really high. They done liver biopsy and it showed I was in T cell rejection. They gave me a mega dose of steriods intravenously and changed my anti-rejection medication and put me on a tapper down of steroids as well. My enzymes are still high but they are trending down.
