I had what I thought was rosacea for about 6 months before I realized it was histamine intolerance. I would break out in full face redness including eyes and would not improve for about a week. Foods which are high in histamine can be found on Food Compability List.
Whenever I ate a high histamine I broke out. I did/do take a Histamine Blocker supplement as required which is also gluten free (Amazon 60/ $35).

Have had this condition for almost 3 years and read everything available including book written by Tony Wrighton of UK which was very informative. It is not curable nor is there medication .

The good news is it can go away as mine miraculously has almost stopped over the last 5/6 months as I experiment with food as little as a lemon slice put in a water glass which would cause full break out.
I do follow a low histamine diet as whatever caused my intolerance was most likely higher histamine foods and aging.

I do and always have had some rosacea but not from histamine.

thank you for the information. I agree that certain foods can cause a flare up. I need to be more aware of my diet. Will do some follow up. Happy to hear you have it well controlled.
