Hi,
I found out I have EoE last year. After trying Omeprazole and Budesonide with no luck at bringing the eosinophil count down, I just started Dupixent about a month ago to see if it works for me. So far the injections themselves have been going okay. I’ll find out in July, at my next EGD with biopsies, whether it’s helping bring my eosinophil count down. Did you decide on trying it?
Hi @jkupratis, as you likely already know, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently approved dupilumab (Dupixent) for treatment of adults and children 12 years and older with eosinophilic esophagitis. Dupilumab is a type of medicine known as a monoclonal antibody. It works to block the action of certain proteins in the body that cause inflammation. Dupilumab is given weekly via injection.
