Child Pugh score?
Has anyone been denied because of their child Pugh score? The University of Iowa will not evaluate me because of it. 6 months ago. They denied me because they mistakenly got incorrect info about my Secondary support person. they also said I was not sober long enough and it had been 6 months for me. and they wanted me to get disability even though medicaid covers it. But. but now that I have all those requirements. They won't evaluate me because of my child Pugh score

@rudy0821, I'm sorry to hear that you've been denied evaluation. Have you considered talking with the transplant social worker to help get things straightened out or understand what is going on?

1 ReactionThank you. A different university has taken me in and things are looking up just in nic of time as my meld has skyrocketed from 24 to 32. In good hands now!

With that jump in Meld score, I imaging that you are feeling unwell.
