I'm waiting for THA on the left hip. Years ago I was prescribed Gabapentin and took one pill. I told my doctor Gabapentin wasn't for me, and he prescribed Lyrica which I did tolerate. Fast forward 10 years to today and I'm not on any nerve pain medication I think because I left my job where I sat 9 hours a day, and moved from a home where I had to climb stairs to a one story house. 3 days might be too soon to know if it's really a long term nerve pain problem for ya. I feel for you and I'm glad you have no fracture. I hope your new hip brings you years of good movement once your healing gets further along.
