Postmenopausal Bleeding

I am postmenopausal 23 years and have had dark bleeding in my urine weeks later red bleeding. Has anyone experienced this? Or know what could be causing it. I'm confused. I am waiting for a callback from my Dr. For an appointment.

@sassygurl My experience was similar to yours although the bleeding was less than what you are experiencing. There could be many different reasons for bleeding including kidney or bladder disease. Do you have a history of UTIs? I was also postmenopausal by about 10 years.

In my case I went to my gynecologist and about two months later I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer. I’m very hopeful that your diagnosis is not the same as mine. You are wise to get an appointment right away and get this followed up. Bleeding as you describe isn’t a normal part of postmenopausal years and needs to be examined.

Will you please come back and let me know when you get an appointment? And what your doctor says?

Hi, the Dr doesn't get back until Monday. I hope I hear from him then. This has never happened before. I really don't have any history of UTIs. I go to start my radiation for breast cancer that I had removed on Thursday so I hope I can get to the Dr before then.Thank you for your support.

I had postmenopausal bleeding several years ago. Had many tests, couldn’t find a reason. I had used a steroid medication and thought that may have been the cause.My gynecologist said that Covid vaccinations can cause post menopausal bleeding and heavy periods in younger women

Hi, I didn't get a covid shot. I'm hoping that this is just older age thing with thinning of the Uterus or even that they don't find anything.
I took Clonazepan for my nerves after my cancer diagnosis. I wonder if that my be the cause.

I found the information about steroid drugs on the internet. I never asked my doctor. Hope all goes well, thinking about you!
