They say I have a type of neuropathy that effects my central nervous system and it messes up my blood pressure and my body temperature control and other things. Then they say I have another type of neuropathy that effects my legs and arm's and hands. I am numb but yet get horrible pain from the inside that is hard to explain. Thank you and good luck to you.

Thank you for sharing that. It must make your days so very painful and funcationality, unpredictable I am so so sorry you are living with such severe and continual pain. Your comments led meto search the web to read more about Central Nervous System Neuropathy. In an older video (from Mayo Clinic Proceedings) on youtube.com a neurologist/specialist showed a chart of medicines that helped treat various causes for CNS pain, and also discussed the use (and limitations) of cannabis. Link:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l0JefGP1FKg There is another video that is very current about Chronic Central Nervious Sensitization (also a Neurologist/specialist at MC Proceedings) that gives some insight into descriptions, manifestations/sources/causes, and treatment of difficult-to-manage chronic pain states. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJNhdnSK3WQ I hope and pray that new treatments and/or solutions continue to evolve and can quickly be accessible and adopted by physicians or pain clinics across the world. So many people (and pets!) live with chronic pain which severely impacts their quality of life and often their social connections.

Dr. Keith Roach has addressed the chronic headache condition in his newspaper column often. Find him on Facebook too. His commentary is too lengthy to repeat here, but he has responses from people with daily headaches, and the two most popular responses, among many, that he has rec'd are that people drink 2 glasses of water and their headaches will go away. Also, there is strong link to chronic headaches between those who have mild sleep apnea.

I drink 2 or 3 glasses of water ever morning and I don't have sleep apnea. Thanks though.

I think Dr. Roach was expressing what the top things were that people were able to reduce or eliminate headaches they experience every day. I'd recommend signing into the websites the "taterjoy" indicated above that may provide helpful info. Have you gone to a neurologist who specializes in headaches?

Have seen neurologists at the top Philly hospitals and headache centers for years. Have had 6 spinal blood patches, 4 spinal taps, 7 nerve blocks, Botox, every single migraine medicine, Ketamine and infusions, everything you can imagine.

I was on indomethicine for a few years. Not a desirable anti-inflammation for gout but it worked until it calmed down and I was able to transition to topomax.

I got injured in a car accident. It left me disabled and unable to work. I lost my dental insurance thru divorce. I could not afford dental care. I often woke up with a headache. It was worse when my daughter was quite ill. She was pregnant at the time. Both survived but the headaches persisted. I could only sleep on my left side due to injury. I figured out that I had severe TMJ. Besides the headaches, my teeth were ruined and my face was lopsided. I had a lot of facial pain. Tylenol was no help. I used heat or cold. Massage. Motrin. and muscle relaxers. I suggest a Neuro appt and dental appt.

May do massage too. Neurolgists have given up. I am sorry for all you have gone through. Hang in there!

So many of us have this. I've never seen any doctor or other medical professional figure it out. I've had my daily headache for over 50 years. I've given up pursuing a "cause" since they don't really know WHY people get headaches. Sending a hug. 😔🤗
