lgk2948 - Welcome to Mayo Connect- Lung nodules are very common. I am very relieved to hear that your kidneys are fine. But, since you have a history of cancer brushing off any nodule in another part of your body is a bit cavalier.
I suggest you get a second opinion.

Merry, you make a very good point. Knowing I have multifocal lung cancer, I now pay close attention to other health issues - like keeping to the colonoscopy schedule, evaluating uterine issues. After investing so much in controlling my lung cancer, it would be really stupid to miss something else that could have been handled easily if addressed in time.
