Mayo Phoenix also does the 5-treatment protocol and is way warmer than Rochester. I did the treatment with the SpaceOar gel, and I was great and didn't know anything had been done till 140 days after my last radiation dose. I started getting some blood on my 2nd stool of the day, like a streak on one side. Not every day but maybe every 3rd or 4th day and it has been going on for about two months. The amount of blood is miniscule compared to the pints I gave as I was a regular blood donor every 56 days for years before being diagnosed with the PC. I am scheduled for my nine month follow up in early January and see where it goes from there. There is a hotel right next door to Mayo for the patients and family.

Thank you. I was so worried about the oar. Now I can focus on the Orgovyx.

There is a painless treatment for radiation proctitis. In case yours gets any worse. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2893353/#:~:text=Radiofrequency%20ablation%20(RFA)%20has%20been,1%20or%202%20RFA%20sessions.
