Neuropathy: Anyone have any experience with gabapentin?
I have loss of feeling in my feet and tingling sensation. My doctor prescribed gabapentin. I read the side effects and decided not to take this med.
Anyone have any experience with gabapentin?

I have been on Gabapentin for a while. I started at 300mg a day, but with little relief.
I now take 400mh three time a day, and find 90% relief. I think the max is 3600 mg a day
My only advice is either to follow your doctors advice or find a new doctor

Gabapentin did not help me at all,unfortunately.
I take Gabepentin 800 mg 3 times a day. It really helps with my neuropathy. I only have a little circulation problem. I prayed that God would heal my neuropathy. I have no pain.
I have just been told that my IPNN can't be treated with DRG therapy because another illness requires MRI.
This was my last best chance. Has anyone been using Gum mies with CBD or THC for pain relief?
I do. I’ve been taking 1200 mgs twice a day for almost 9 yrs. I’ve found that my feet will start burning if I miss a dose so I know it helps. It does make me groggy though but it’s worth it to me.
I’ve been on Gabapentin for 7 years; might as well been a placebo!
It has to go!
@jubantique
What does are you taking?
Jake
It didn’t help me either.
Gabapentin 600mg, 3 times a day…..
@jubantique
I asked you about your dose since there are a number of researchers who believe Gabapentin is ineffective because their dose may be too low.
My brother is currently taking 3,600 mg which is effective but at 2,400 mg wasn’t. I took 3,600 mg that didn’t help my seizures or Neuropathy. Someone took over 7,000 mg (7,200 I believe) and was finally helped at that strength. I’m not suggesting you take 7000 mg but just because studies show many people respond at 1800 mg. doesn’t mean everyone responds at that dose.
Beat wishes,
Jake
