Sounds like you need to see a dermatologists for the proper treatment. But in the mean time try treating with OTC washes etc.
Start by taking a good probiotic like Align
Use a good antibacterial soap such as Dial
Walmart sales a great product called Fungicure an antibacterial wash. It's fantastic!
After that you need a topical cream. That's where it's important to know the exact infection you are dealing with. Sounds like you need prescription grade cream but you can try different OTC ones like Lamisil or even try yeast cream.
Once it's cleared up a great powder to stay dry to keep it at bay is anti-monkey butt powder(rural king and Amazon sells it).

Thanks for the response! I have been seen by dermatology at least 2 or 3 times. I now have an appointment for this coming Wednesday with an MD to request being seen by a wound specialist, infectious disease specialist, etc. I do want to start on a good probiotic but also want to request a stool sample as well. These are great ideas..thank you!
