Honestly, I wouldn’t wait for my oncologist to make that suggestion. A dermatologist is an important doctor to have on our medical roster, especially as we age. Even more important if we’re cancer patients. Our past exposures to the sun can catch-up with us so it’s good to have those annual exams.
Have you ever had a Derm exam?

Until a year ago, my only doctor was a dentist. While I cannot return to that status, I am doing my best to not get consumed by the medical machinery. I have no intention of adding a dermatologist because of something that might be a remote possibility.

Even if you are very determined and have strong will power, there are time you may not eat the best you shoild. I also have a healthy diet most of my life and look for labels of ingredients with low sugar. I had a stage II cancer and fould medical science is changing toward holistics.
I used this information to become cancer free and now take maintenance doses. Doctors told me anything water soluble could be taken in very high dodes with little risk as long as there were no side effects. I took 1000 mg doses every 4 hours to continually replace what is flushed from my body in that time.

@donsunlover Hello, I've seen your response. Regarding turmeric and EGCG, do you take them every day? And by 'every 4 hours, 1000mg,' are you referring to EGCG?

No, I was and still am taking 1000 mg 95% curcuminoids with black pepper extract supplements orally. Best source is internet.
Curcumin is water soluble, so stays in the blood a very short time. The black pepper extract make it 2000% more absorbable into the blood stream. Only two moderate side effects. Should not be taken with blood thinner because it makes them work better. Also if you take iron it should be taken at a different time since cucumin may inhibit iron absorption.

Since it has become more bioavailable, curcumin studies show that it has many positive uses: google the following

I met a hem/onc who has studied diet in multiple myeloma patients, so perhaps her research applies to you too. She said those who eat a vegetarian diet, with occasional seafood, do better than those who have more meat. She has been presenting her research on a lot of platforms if you’re interested in learning the details. Personally, I’m trying to start with a more veg centered diet, less meat, some chicken. I have multiple myeloma.

@donsunlover ,thanks!I've been trying oral curcumin extract capsules, but I haven't been taking them multiple times a day。
You're right,in fact, curcumin is challenging to be effectively absorbed by the body.

Warning Warning Warning
Don't know if you have read the fine print on the bottle of the brand you are taking. You are taking very low dosage. On Naturewise brand you show:
"Our powerful turmeric curcumin extract is standardized to 95% curcuminoids, the most potent compounds in turmeric root on the market today. The recommended daily serving delivers 2250 mg of curcumin complex (from 3 capsules)."

One dose is 3 capsules and those three contain only 500 mg curcuminoid.

I currently take 1000 mg curcuminoids in one capsule, multiple times a day.

Also best in product is tested by independent third party and made in USA.
