Do you have an inspiring or favorite quote to share?
I'll start with three quotes from the very inspiring Helen Keller as noted in "Your Year of Healing" book by Amit Sood, MD:
"Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it."
"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched -- they must be felt with the heart."
"Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much."

“So much has been given to me, I have no time to ponder that which has been denied.”

That’s one of the best quotes I’ve heard. Thanks for sharing.
What you think so shall you be !
(Bible)
If you think you can…you will.
If you think you can’t…you won’t.
So tell yourself everyday before going to sleep ….I am healed.
I am whole, I am strong and invincible.
Then close your eyes and feel a warm healing ripple of water travel from head to your chest arms abdomen hips and down to your knees and toes.
This wave of warm rejuvenating water will restore every cell muscle and organ in your body.
Think it daily. Say it nightly,
What you think….so shall you be
I love your nightly ritual! It’s a keeper. Thanks!
That’s a great mind over matter visualization. It also sounds relaxing to calm the body for sleep. I’ll give it a try. This reminded me how whenever I was sick or first had cancer, I would visualize Pac-Man going through my body and gobbling up germs, cancer, clearing out arteries or whatever the way it used to gobble up the dots in the video game. That always felt good for healing but I forgot about it at some point. Thanks for your contribution.
When the going gets tough the tough gets going
Just keep on walking.

Somebody mentioned saying nice things ... I was in a room recently with several medical people when the senior physician entered, and I was surprised to hear myself saying "Isn't he cute!" Consternation bloomed on all the faces but he turned and said "That's the nicest thing anybody's said to me all week." No doubt a lie, but one filled with grace.
Sometimes we need a genius to tell us what we should already know so here it is from Albert Einstein:
A human being is a part of a whole, called by us ‘universe’, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest… a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.
