Night Sweats

If you’re cultures have converted to negative for acid fast bacilli, do you continue to have night sweats?

I have been Mac free for over two years, not currently on any antibiotics, and still have night sweats.

Interesting - I also have finished treatment for Mac and still having night sweats. Perhaps it's the remaining damage, the bronchiectasis?

Thank you for your responses. This is all very scary.
Also, my teeth are stained from the Linezolid and I am curious about how MAC affects going to the dentist?
The water spraying misting into nostrils and down my throat seems like prime for mycobacteria

I occasionally get night sweats but not like before and now I wonder if they’re perimenopause related. As for the dentist I ask them to not use water and to only use the suction thing. I also bring my life straw water bottle with me to my appointments.
