I have been taking 10 mg. For a long time at least 5-6 years. I do not have any side effects from Melatonin. I do am frequently going to bathroom in the night. ( now a days 5-6 times) That is because of OAB, I assume.

I've been taking 10 mg of melatonin off and on for five years. No side effects whatsoever. But I am questioning if it's losing efficacy.
I wasn't aware that long-term melatonin use is potentially dangerous. Maybe I should start worrying?
As for OAB/neurogenic bladder, as of late I've been having too many nights when I've awakened 3 to 5 times becausing of voiding needs. In my experience (I'm taking Silodosin), anything more than 0 to 1 times per night means something's wrong. But I doubt my problem is the melatonin.
