What is your dose of mirtazapine? I tried 7.5mg one night and slept well but was sleepy and tired for 3 days afterwards, so never took it again. Thanks.

I’m on 7.5 mg. I’m sometimes sleepy but I’ve struggled so much with sleep that I don’t mind the feeling

I take mirtazapine (7.5mg). To counter the morning grogginess, I take it at 8:30PM for a 10PM bedtime. I get up 3-4 times a night because of nature calls and pain, and it helps with getting back to sleep quickly rather than lying awake.

If you wish to try it again, maybe cut the dosage in half and try taking it earlier in the evening.
