Eye drops make my eyes more dry
I started to use Bio True I find it been making my eyes more dry. Had anyone experienced this before. Is there an eye drop that works better? I was using Systane Ultra & it did the same thing.

Thanks for asking. She just told me to use the refresh drops often. She knows I don’t like to experiment with different drops due to previous reactions. My visit wasn’t specifically about my dry eyes so we didn’t talk about that much.
I am going back to see optometrist tomorrow. I was told by another doctor I probably have inflammation in my eye lids.
You’re probably correct…there is a gel: two types, hylo gel: a green & a blue one. One is much more expensive than the other since it is much more viscous & both are sold over-the-counter. Hope this helps you! It did me!! Air conditioning is also VERY drying to our eyes.
Systane Complete Preservative Free is my choice too.
Try Pataday, particularly if your eyes feel gritty. I also use Systane and the PM ointment at night. An eye mask may also help. I wash my face during the day, particularly after being outside. Your opthalmologist may be able to prescribe something else, but these work well for me.
Do you have an autoimmune disease as well? If so, I'd suggest going to an Opthalmologist as they are a medical doctor and have better access and understanding of weird conditions. Your insurance will pay.
Has Bio True been one of those brands that have been recalled in 2023?
