Medicare and hypertonic saline
Why does Medicare part D not cover hypertonic Saline? If it’s a daily necessity then I don’t understand. They will pay for most of the high dollar drugs.

Hi Pocojack. About the cost of your saline... When my doc ordered HyperSal 3%, each month supply came with a reusable neb kit with tubing. The cost went from about $5 to around $35. When it was just regular sod chloride it was, as I said about $5.00.
