Trimix injection good or bad idea?
59 years old. prostatectomy just over 3 months ago. Take daily 5mg tadalafil or 100mg sildenafil before intercourse . Successful only 2 times without vac pump. I am considering Trimix injections just not sure when or if I should. I would appreciate some insight from men who have used and when they started. No other treatments for cancer needed. Presently cancer free. 0 psa 2 blood test so far. I am thankful for what I have just want the best I can achieve. Thank you for any shared experiences good or bad.

I haven't had prostate problems. I don't if having prostate cancer/surgery make any difference on it's effectiveness or not. I started using Trimix 5 years ago at 65. It works well for me. Erection in 5-10 minutes and lasts 2-4 hours. None of the pills worked for me. Trimix costs me $30.00 per injection. I get mine in the San Francisco Bay area. Another member told me it's more reasonable and gave me the wed site. I have it somewhere.
Gook luck,
Jake
Thank you for info it helps.
I for one can tell you that it works great for me. For 8 years I used the vaccum pump and bands. I found that system to be terribly uncomfortable and painful from the constriction. I was concerned about what affects I was having on my penis health because it would turn blue and cold in a short time. I finally gave up and just didn't have sex. I wasn't happy about that situation either so, after a couple of years of that I learned about Trimix and opted for trying it. It has changed my sexual experience tremendously. It isn't perfect because you have to experiment to find which amount works best for you. Since it's rather expensive you may want to experiment with what minimum dosage works best for you to have a successful sexual experience. Sticking a needle into the side of your penis is also something you will have to get used to. It hurts briefly but the syringe needles are quite small so it's more like a sting. I thought it worth the try and have used this method a number of times successfully. Good luck!
Thankyou for sharing. Helpful to me to hear from others.

Now, there is a trimix gel that can be administered into the urethra and also applied topically in addition to injections. The injections don't hurt. If I feel them at all, it's an insignificant pinch.
Erections can also continue after ejaculation.

Good to know thanks
How long can erection last after sex?
@jasonfarmer
I've had them last 3 hours after but usually 2 hours for sure.
Take care,
Jake
I used it several years ago occasionally but stopped in large part because after I was finished, my gland (head) would throb really bad for a couple of hours.
Fast forward a few years, now 63 and decided to try again. I was concerned having not used it the injection for a few years, it may not work. The person managing that department confirmed the same. I run a lot so I was optimistic. Also, the NP suggested she could tweak one of the 3 numbers of Compounds and might alleviate the throbbing and still maintain the erection. Sure enough, it worked. Can't believe my comm was so poor my previous Doctor. Then he left the Institution and I didn't follow up until the past year.
Had to tweak a few units give or take as mentioned earlier. It does last a couple hours, especially if I want it to. I'm glad it's available. Good luck!
Hello Jason,
I had my RALP performed a year ago this October. Prior to my surgery I achieved normal erections. I just turned 69 years old. I did use CIALIS occasionally due to the PEYRONES DISEASE I was diagnosed and treated for about 5 years ago. Although I achieved some improvement and partial recovery from my PEYRONES DISEASE, if I needed a CIALIS for an erection or to get a better erection it worked great.
However, 11 months after my RALP, the CIALIS is no longer effective. I take it to assist with increased blood flow to my Penis for rehabilitation purposes but it no longer gives helps me with an erection. I also use a pump for rehabilitation purposes and have used successfully for sexual intercourse but it’s a bit clumsy and neither my wife or I like the feeling of the Penis Ring needed to maintain my erection. However, it’s an effective therapy to achieve, produce and maintain an erection good enough for sex but it’s not ideal. I started using TRIMIX injections about 2 months ago and find it to be the best solution for me at this point in my recovery efforts. I get a quality erection in 5-10 minutes which is really nice and I can stay hard after an orgasm. The pain is minimal and really not a big deal at all. I don’t have to be concerned or have any anxiety about whether or not my normal erection response is going to work or produce a good enough erection for sex. Without any kind of therapies, I can achieve about a 60% normal erection at best some of the time but not always. I highly recommend the TRIMIX for a timely, quality erection for consistent results. As with most therapies, some work better than others and it’s always an individual result for different men regardless of whatever therapies you try or stay with.
Good luck and best wishes.
Philip thank you for your response I find it to be very helpful info.
