Thanks for the reply. I bought this TENS - PowerLegs, from Amazon, last January, 2021. But used it only about 3 times. I don't really have an issue, except calf & thigh cramping during tennis matches. So, my balancing issue progressed, have not played tennis for almost 3 years now. My DVT from 20 years prior has re-occurred. I'm now on Eliquis 5mg twice daily, started June 30th for 6 months. I'll ask my PCP, if OK to use this PoweLegs TENS. Concerned that blood clot may be dislodged and travel. Additionally, I now also have PAD. AIC 5.9, Daily ave., glucose 119. Never had any major surgery, 160 lbs average wt. 5'7" ht., just turned 75 last month. I do water aerobics to stenthen my leg muscles. I have been experiencing fatigue & tired/heavy legs after 2mil walk (40mins) Is using jucuzi advisable while on Eliquis?
Thanks for your time.
Hey John,
I posted a reply to @raebaby. I believe you should be able to access it. At any rate. I used TENS about 3 times. Concerned that my blood clot may be dislodged & travel. PowerLegs TENS, is what I have. See attached picture.
This isnteresting. I'm going to look into it. If it sounds good I'll write back about it. I love sleuthing anything medical
I have transverse myelitis. I've had 5 treatments so far, sanexas neogen. No improvement yet. My neurologist on my 1st visit tested me, said I had neuropathy. He is not the doctor who diagnosed my myelitis. Anyway, he scheduled me for 12 treatments at 2 a week for 6 weeks, so I don't know if this is going to help my myelitis.
I have transverse myelitis. I'm going to a neurologist who is treating me for neuropathy with sanexas neogen treatments. He said after 12 treatments my spine would be good. Are these treatments good for myelitis. I don't know what or who to believe.
Sorry for the late reply. I did not take vitamins or minerals or any of the needle injections. The reason being is I was premed for a couple years, so I had a good idea about how I would respond to them and chose not to. Let me know if you have any further questions.
I underwent such treatment for 24 sessions with a buster of B12 injections every time and NOTHING!. It got progressively worse.
I did stop that treatment.
Same here.
Try the Voxxlife Liberty patch. it might sound like a marketing scheme but it isn't. I'm almost 82 and it helps me with my balance and the deadness in my feet is gone. I got perhipheral neuropathy after chemotherapy for breast cancer. I quit the Tens unit and starated on the patch.
Don't do it. I had 6 weeks of treatment and have been in unbearable pain and bedridden ever since. It made me 10X worse and now I can't eat sleep or even walk. I am wasting away in bed and don't know how much longer I will go on like this. I am truly considering putting myself out of pain as I can no longer tolerate the severe pain
