If you didn’t experience this before nasal surgery, then most likely a consequence of.
If you did experience this before surgery then I would address some other issues. Nasal congestion is caused by many thing. Lifestyle changes, exercise, environmental can all be causes of congestion.
Laying flat is typically due to the change in blood pressure.

yes it was the same before surgery , not better or worse since....pretty weird i go to sleep with my nose completely unblock and wake up in the middle of the night with one side completely blocked....been 4 years , tried so many different things .
