Did I stop growing? What can a teen do to grow taller?
I’m 14 years old and have been 5’6 for about a few months now and I’m not sure if I should be worried or not. I hit my first growth spurt back in 4th grade when I was 4’9 and grew, by the time I was in 6th grade I was 5’1 . Then 7th grade came and I grew 5 more inches. By the time the pandemic started I was 5’6. I started 8th grade and finished 8th grade (currently about to go to 9th) and still haven’t grown a single inch. The doctor says I have a lot of testosterone and should be exercising more so I did but no signs of growth yet. Is there a certain exercise or medication or any remedies I can take to increase my height or maximize it?

I’m 14 almost 15 and I’m 5’7. My dad is 6’4 mom is 5’7, and my older brother (19) is 5’11. I grew a pretty standard rate from grade 7 until now grade 9. I never hit a growth spurt where I was growing like crazy for a period of time before. Only one small spurt last summer for like 2 weeks. I haven’t grown a lot since then maybe about an inch all school year. Now knowing my factors, genes, and growth patterns, will I grow anymore?
I am 15 and almost turning 16. I'm 5'10, my dad is 59, and my mom is 5'3. Do I have the chance to grow 6'+? I still don't have facial hair, but I have public hair and a little underarm hair.

(ima girl btw) I’m 14, 8 months, and im 5’3 and haven’t grown at all since i turned 14 in december of 2022 and it is now august 17th, 2023. last summer i was 130 lbs and i have gotten a lot more active since then, im also a multi sport athlete and used to run laps and miles around my neighborhood and i lift weights- i went into a caloric deficit along with working out last year and in total lost about 20-23 lbs, my lowest being 107lbs but now im back up to 113, trying to gain weight because my mom and i think i may have stunted my growth. I also lost my period for two months last year, september-october, got it back rly light in november, and haven’t had it again since december of last year. we talked to a doctor and all she said was i need to gain weight to get my period back and that i probably won’t grow higher. (my mom is 5’5 and my dad is 6-6’1) my main worry is that i stunted my growth and im worried that i won’t continue growing but i really need to get taller because i am a goalkeeper and need to be atleast 5’7- im going into my freshman year of highschool and im wondering if i continue to gain weight, hopefully just muscle weight though, is it possible that i will keep growing? or maybe i can still hit a growth spurt?

You may still have a small amount of growth left.
Try to regain lost weight with a healthy diet, including dairy. You probably lost your period for 2 reasons- your high intensity physical activity as well as your weight loss.
Your body is changing into a woman’s body- there will be a small amount of fat- not just muscle mass.
You can ask your pediatrician or family doctor to request an X-ray of your wrist for pediatric bone age. That will tell you if your growth plates are closed.
I still think you may grow some once you get to a healthy weight.
Hi my name is jay and I’m about 5’6 my mom is about 5’6 1/2 and my dad is about 5’8/5’9 and I feel like I’m not done growing because I haven’t hit a growth spurt yet but most of the males in my family range from5’8-6’1 and the women range from 5’2-5’6. I was told that I would be around 5’10-6’0 I work out 4 times a week I kinda eat healthy( I have my days) i think the last time I grew was maybe around 1-2 years ago. I had facial when I was about 14 Is there anything i can do to help my growth?
Hi I recently turned 14 and I am 5’7 and I haven’t grown in the past 5 months my dad is 5’9 or 5’10 and my mom is 5’2 am I growing or have I finished growing
I hit puberty really young, when I was 7 or 8? Unfortunately, during that era eating disorders were like crazy popular so I didn’t eat as much as I should’ve because I thought it was hip and trendy, I had like 4 cucumbers a day plus dinner then that was it. I was always tall, but once I reached 5’1 I stopped growing. I was disappointed since my sisters, grandmothers and other female family members on my dads side are super tall, but I chalked it up to the fact that I must’ve inherited my moms side of the family’s height since they’re all a little short (5’3 and under). However, I started to notice that my body wasn’t changing AT ALL. My breasts have stayed the same size (something like 38A?) and are still that weird torpedo shape that early puberty boobs usually are. I find this really strange since quite literally all the women on both sides of my family have large breasts (all of them are C cups or above, even like my ancestors had pretty big melons) My fat distribution also didn’t change, whenever I gain weight it’s only in my stomach, not my legs or my butt which is eher I’m pretty sure it’s supposed to go during puberty. Is it over for me?
