Good evening @joan5678. What an amazing career! I had two artists in my gallery that had been dancers in their younger days. They were able to transfer their artistic talent to clay and glass. I want to accomplish two tasks in this post. The first is to introduce you to @jenniferhunter. She has knowledge of spine surgery and fusions. I am sorry that prednisone left you without support tissue.

And now to your question about CBD oil for your "wooden blocks". I know exactly what that means. My feet have a leather-like feel even on their good days. My solutions are these: 1) a 1:3 CBD/THC balm from Papa and Barkley helps me. You can research options at:
http://www.papaandbarkleys.com. They also have a CBD-only site at http://www.papaandbarkleyscbd.com.
2) MFR, myofascial release therapy so that those feet don't prohibit driving. Here is a link to the Connect site:

Welcome to Connect......may you have happiness and the causes of happiness.

When I click on the Papa & Barkleys link, I'm getting a message that their server is not found. I Googled them and I don't see an actual CBD.THC balm. What I do see is a Hemp balm.

Good evening @dbeshears1

So hopeful that your location is covered by MFR Experts. Here is the link.

Good evening @julkun, I have been concerned about your response regarding MFR. Would you mind sharing with the Connect community why you say MFR did absolutely nothing for your neuropathy? I am wondering how many times you have received treatment. And if you don't mind, do you remember if the MFR therapist was trained by John Barnes?

Is there some other "hands-on" treatment that has worked for you and would be good to share with other members? Thanks for your help.

May you be free from suffering and the causes of suffering.

Hi, @artscaping, I said MFR did absolutely nothing for my neuropathy because it did nothing for my neuropathy. I have what I consider severe neuropathy in both feet. I had MFR done over a period of months, once a week by a chiropractor and there were never any positive results. I never heard of John Barnes. I live in NYC and have terrific health insurance but all those that I called regarding MFR wanted cash. MFR, I was told by all, does not repair nerves or at least it hasn't been proven. I've gone to several top therapists as my wife works for an orthopedic doctor. I've had several hands-on treatments, not MFR, using many devices and all have failed. I also had stem cell therapy, prp and a host of others, including light therapy and sound wave therapy. NOTHING!!! As always, I wish everybody health and happiness. This was just my horrible experience to date.

CBD is just OK but THC will make you forget you have a problem. I'm 80 now and I use Alaska Tikun drops under the tongue as needed at night. Then I relax and enjoy whatever is on the TV. Thanks for asking. Bruce R

My original questions is this CBD oil actually providing any relief of the tingling etc. Is there a particular brand better then another.
I see many commercial products coming on claiming to be better than the other.
Anyone using a specific brand and its total over all effect. Is this used eternally or is taken internally?

I buy from CBDistiller y online. Their products are 3rd party tested and they really help my anxiety, my severe neuropathy and they help me to sleep. Highly recommend this brand for quality.

Yes! CBD/THC , helps with sleep, and when I have good, restful sleep, life with neuropathy is just so much easier. I use oil about an hour before bed. I think it's helping with immune systems too.
I use 10mg/10mg cbd/thc in one ml

Same for me I had the maximum strength CBD cream and it did nothing for peripheral neuropathy in my legs and feet. $90 and just sitting on the shelf wasted. It does get absorbed and made me feel kind of chilled out and mellow though. Alpha lipoic acid has worked wonders for me for several years and I only need 100 mg a day or every other day. I also take a super b complex for the B12 which is good for restoring your nerves as well as folic acid and the rest of the b complex.

Probably you could use an endocrinology test for B12 etc. I had one and my my B12 was so low I get a monthly injection. It’s hard to metabolize especially if you’re also taking omeprazole. I’m trying to stop omeprazole since it’s bad for PN.
